Cast Shadows’ Lis Dembling channels spooky melodies from far away places through her accordion, toy piano and glockenspiel. 

She comes from a colorful family, Black and white, that has included hitchhikers ,train-riders, a vaudeville usherette, several circus workers, a ukulele player, accordion players, a hack driver (horse carriage), a cornet player, a silent movie piano player, and a Memphis tap dancer. 

She herself has composed music for circuses and traveled with some down in South America.
