Daniel Wininger, aka Rhythm and Greens, has been playing the hand drum since he was 10 years old, when he took lessons from Ibrahima, the Senegalese djembe maker in Brooklyn. He has made rhythm his life. His music draws influence from West Africa, the Middle East, hip hop tribal, trance, and ceremonial traditions.
