The Tripps are a 3 piece psychedelic jam band from Boston. They make anything from funk, blues, and jazz to atmospheric psychedelia. Although, the band’s favorite stuff to play is magical music that doesn’t have a name. Ben Richards (Guitar/Vocals), Enrique Perez (Bass/Vocals), and Joey Burmeister (Drums/Vocals) all met at Berklee College of Music where their nightly jams founded a unique style of free playing. The unstructured nature of their music allows for electric spontaneity within the groups improvisation, which is paramount in both their studio records and live performances.
